MongoSession.cs and Disconnect

description

Hey guys,

Thanks for this great project!

I noticed that you call _server.Disconnect(); in MongoSession.cs

This create issues, specially if you use a replica set, it's not recommended to call Disconnect.

http://docs.mongodb.org/ecosystem/tutorial/getting-started-with-csharp-driver/

"The C# driver has a connection pool to use connections to the server efficiently. There is no need to call Connect or Disconnect; just let the driver take care of the connections (calling Connect is harmless, but calling Disconnect is bad because it closes all the connections in the connection pool)."

I removed disconnect by your advice.
Refactored mongoprovider and roles to use only one instance of mongosession

Hello,

Thanks for you feedback. Will review and implement. Looking forward for your next proposals.

How do you look on implementing some simple wpf application for managing membership data? Justwant to know your opinion. Or maybe make both wpf and web so you can have choice?

Regards,
Dmitriy

Hey F0rc0sigan,

Not sure about WPF, I don't have much experience using it.
Would be good to add a Session Provider, maybe merging this project with http://www.adathedev.co.uk/2013/03/mongodb-aspnet-session-store-provider.html

Cheers,
Mathieu

Hello Mathieu,

I am not sure exactly, but it looks like session provider is not included in SimpleMembership at all. But you yhink it woul be great to add it?

Thanks for help,
Dmitriy
